Introduction
An exciting opportunity to join a specialized center as an Associate Specialist, providing psychiatric care for individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions. Working under the guidance of a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in the assessment and management of service users, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric and external assessments and provide first-line medical care.
Prepare and deliver reports for tribunal hearings, case reviews, and NHS England managers.
Liaise with external professionals, carers, and GP services.
Participate in Clinical Governance activities, including audits and research.
Contribute to training, education, and the development of staff.
Requirements:
Full GMC registration with experience in psychiatry.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable: MRCPsych and Section 12(2) approval.
