A specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8–18 years is seeking an experienced Systemic Family Therapist. About the Role:
As a Systemic Family Therapist, you will deliver systemic family psychotherapy to young people in the inpatient unit and their families. Additionally, you will support staff development through training and consultation while contributing to systemic input within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver systemic interventions for families facing severe and complex mental health challenges.
Conduct risk assessments and develop crisis plans.
Support multidisciplinary teams with systemic insights for effective care planning.
Facilitate carer support groups and review systemic treatment plans.
Contribute to staff development through training and reflective practice sessions.
Requirements:
A formal qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy (Master’s or Doctorate level, accredited by AFT).
Registration with UKCP.
Experience in CAMHS settings, particularly with adolescents and families presenting complex mental health needs.
Expertise in systemic approaches to treatment and risk management.
