About the Role
Location: Ipswich
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (3 shifts per week on a rolling 4-week rota) - Night and Day shift contracts available.
Pay Rate: £11.64–£11.84 per hour
Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join the dedicated team at a specialist neurological care centre. You will coordinate high-quality, person-centered care and provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff.
Responsibilities:
Delegate care tasks while maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Promote individuals' rights and choices while respecting their beliefs and preferences.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
Support junior staff through training, supervision, and leadership.
Requirements:
S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent (essential).
2 years of relevant care work experience.
Leadership and supervision skills with coaching or mentoring experience.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
