As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will deliver high-quality care while advancing your skills in a leading healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver specialist oncology care to patients.
Administer systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and provide education to patients and families about treatment plans.
Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring a compassionate and holistic approach.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mentorship of junior staff.
Enhance your knowledge through funded courses and development sessions.
What You’ll Bring:
Current NMC Nurse registration.
Proven experience in administering chemotherapy.
Post-registration experience in haematology or oncology settings.
Skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and IV drug administration.
Knowledge of systemic anti-cancer treatments and their side effects.
